About Toby Goodman

From the age of 19 Toby’s career has taken him all over the world, playing drums and percussion within many genres.

In 2010 he has been recording at Air Studios, London (www.airstudios.com) recording percussion for Yamit Mamo’s debut album. www.myspace.com/yamitmamomusic

2009 alone saw Toby playing on stage with, The Faces, Robin Gibb CBE (The Bee Gees), Bill Wyman (The Rolling Stones), Lulu, Melanie C (Spice Girls), Beverley Knight, Mick Hucknall, Albert Lee, Peter Grant, Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten), Georgie Fame, Paul Carrack, Chris Difford. Mark King and Mike Lindup – (Level 42),

Toby’s Drumming and Percussion playing can also be heard on the new Yeah You’s Album, Looking Through You, released on Island in September 2009 to critical acclaim.

Currently, Toby holds the Percussion chair for the musical ‘Never Forget’ (neverforgetthemusical.com) featuring the music of Take That, on tour in the UK and earlier this year playing at The Savoy Theatre in London’s West End where he held The Percussion and Drum chair over the course of the run.

Over the last 10 years Toby has toured with various musical theatre shows, pop acts, and recorded for television composers. These include the likes of Sheila Ferguson of the 3 Degrees, and Grammy Award Winner Hazel Payne (A Taste Of Honey) and Liberty X.

Toby has also toured on and off with Kid Creole and the Coconuts since 2005 including the 25th Anniversary ‘Lifeboat Party’ European Tour, playing alongside Bass player, Mikey Craig (Culture Club).

He works from his own studio, where he to records high quality live drum and percussion tracks for artists, composers and producers.
